Jonathan Ebe is a young and talented author with a deep love for storytelling, history, and faith. Born in Switzerland and currently studying at the American International School of Lagos (AISL), Jonathan has been fascinated with books and creative writing from a young age.

As a child, he would fold sheets of paper into small books, filling the pages with imaginative stories. What started as a fun hobby soon became a passion, shaping him into the writer he is today. His debut novel, Ten Terrible Plagues: Let My People Go!, is proof of his creativity and dedication to bringing biblical stories to life in an engaging way for young readers.

His Writing Journey

Jonathan’s journey to becoming an author wasn’t without challenges. He originally wrote Ten Terrible Plagues on his computer, but during the pandemic, a technical failure caused him to lose the entire manuscript. Instead of giving up, he used his love for storytelling—heavily influenced by action movies and biblical narratives—to rewrite the book from scratch.

Determined to make the book more exciting and understandable for kids, he conducted thorough research on each of the Ten Plagues, blending biblical history, science, and adventure. The result? A thrilling and thought-provoking novel that not only tells a great story but also deepens readers’ faith and curiosity about God’s unending power.

His Mission as an Author

Jonathan Ebe believes in the power of stories to inspire, educate, and transform lives. At the heart of Ten Terrible Plagues is a message of faith, salvation, and the unstoppable power of God—a story that not only entertains but also strengthens the reader’s relationship with Him.
